1st week down!

Yesterday was my one week mark! I am grateful for everyone who has stopped by and left lovely comments. I feel so lucky to have this chance to meet new people and share interesting ideas, experiences and inspirations! During this past week I got 2 awards - sweetness!

Thank you to Patty Ann at Living Life To The Pinkest for my 1st award! It truly inspired me to keep this blog alive!

I am passing this on to the following lovelies...

Who Throws a Cupcake? Honestly.

Whimsical Rose (formerly known as Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust)

If you haven't been over to visit these blogs, you should get on it!

My girl Elizabeth Marie at It's Unbeweavable also gave me an award this week! She is a doll! EM is doing this amazing giveaway right now, a personalized pendant! If you haven't checked her blog out yet, get your booty over there and enter the contest. Or don't ... I really want to win! ;)

This award is getting passed on to the following:

A CUP OF JO

... love Meagan

Go. Read. Enjoy.

I have some not so good news and some really great news to share. In using the "band aid" removal method (quick and fast) I will get the sadness out of the way. I lost a friend over the weekend, in mourning my loss I found that this quote gives me much comfort.

"Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality." - Emily Dickinson

Todd, I love you dearly and will forever remember our time as neighbors, friends and family.

On to the fabulous news I just received while writing this blog... I am going to be an Auntie x 3! I have two rowdy nephews that rock my world and now my brother and his wifey are expecting again! My fingers are crossed for a niece that I can shower with pink and lace and glitter and barbies and cupcakes and all that frilly girl stuff my nephews laugh at me for loving! Being Aunt KeeKee is one of the best things in my life, I am so thankful for my wonderful family!

Thank you again to everyone for being so encouraging! Hope your weekend was full of love, laughter and fun.

Xoxo
